A Nashville Christmas
December 6-9, 2020
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 6:
Early this morning our deluxe motor coach will pick-up in Austintown, in the Akron area and Lodi en route to Nashville, Tennessee where we will spend the next three nights at the beautiful Gaylord Opryland Resort & Spa Hotel. Rest stops and a lunch stop (on own) in Florence, Kentucky will be provided. The Opryland Hotel is one of the most beautifully decorated hotels in the country, but it is also quite large with lots of walking to see all of the sights. With horse-drawn carriage rides, more than two million sparkling lights, 3,000 poinsettias, a dozen shows and choirs singing Christmas songs in the two-acre Victorian Conservatory, there is no better way to celebrate the holiday season. Dinner tonight (on own) will be at or around the hotel.
MONDAY, DECEMBER 7:
The morning will be free to further explore the resort and visit “ICE” (a winter wonderland of two million pounds of colorful ice sculptures and two-story ice slides carved by 40 artisans from Harbin, China). This afternoon we will enjoy a fun luncheon cruise and show aboard the General Jackson Showboat. Tonight, we will enjoy Opryland’s Country Christmas Dinner and Show at our hotel featuring the Oak Ridge Boys. After the dinner show you will be free to further explore the beautiful Gaylord Opryland Resort.
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 8:
At 10:30 a.m. we will offer an optional trip to downtown Nashville where you can visit the Country Music Hall of Fame (for the price of admission) and/or visit the honky tonks and shops in the heart of Nashville. Tonight, we have reserved seats for the “Grand Ole Opry” at the iconic Ryman Theatre in downtown Nashville.
NOTE: The Gaylord Opryland Hotel reserves the right to change the schedule if needed.
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 9:
Early this morning we will depart for home with many wonderful memories. We will arrive back home this evening with our spirits high and ready to enjoy the holidays! Our approximate arrival time back in Lodi is 6:45 p.m., the Akron area arrival 7:45 p.m. and Austintown 8:30 p.m.
