Fall Foliage in the Finger Lakes – 8th Annual Wine Tour

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9
Our deluxe motor coach will depart Austintown at 7:30 a.m. en route to New York’s Finger Lakes Region. Our first two stops today will be along the Canandaigua Wine Trail. First stop is at Arbor Hill Winery where we will enjoy lunch and wine taste (included). Lunch will be an assortment of brats and side dishes served family style, finishing with a unique regional treat “Naples Grape Pie” for dessert. A glass of wine of your chose will also be provided. There will also be a vegetarian option. Our next stop is Herron Hill Winery for a wine taste and tour of the vineyard. Finally, before heading to our hotel, we will have dinner and wine taste (included) at the Bellhurst Castle & Winery. Relax and enjoy gorgeous views of Seneca Lake from this historic 1880’s lakefront castle. Check into our hotel in Geneva, New York
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10
After breakfast (included) at our hotel, we will start our day on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. Our first stop will be at Lakewood Vineyards overlooking Seneca Lake for a cellar room wine taste and a chocolate and Port pairing (included). Our next stop is Tabora Farm and Winery where everything is made from scratch! The homecraft bakery and deli is where we will enjoy lunch and a glass of wine from Tabora Vineyards (included). After lunch, we will visit the CK Cellars Winery Campus which was nominated 2017 winery of the year awarded by New York Wine & Grape Foundation. The campus includes Torrey Ridge Winery, Wort-Hog and Earle Estates. Here you will be given a voucher for a taste of your choice at one of the tasting rooms. With choices from wine to fruit wines, to hard cider. You will have time to enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the panoramic view of Seneca Lake and listening to live music. Our final stop of the day along the trail is at the Three Brothers Winery & Estates. You will get a tasting passport and start tasting your way around the estate. You will be able to taste at all three of the unique wineries and the one microbrewery. Dinner tonight at the estate will start with hors d’oeuvres followed by a 3-course wine paired dinner (included). We will return to our hotel to rest up for our final day of our adventure.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11
After breakfast (included) at our hotel we will depart for a historic Finger Lakes Dairy Farm and have a cheese and wine taste at Muranda Cheese Company and experience the passion that the farm puts into the production of its products. Our next stop will be at Ventosa Vineyards. A 23-acre estate vineyard overlooking Seneca Lake modeled after the Tuscan fashion. Here will have lunch and a wine taste (included) and time to enjoy the winery. Our last stop before heading home is at New York Kitchen, overlooking the beautiful Canandaigua Lake. Here we will have a pie and wine pairing experience (included) and free time to explore the center on our own. Perhaps experience a wine and beer tasting (on own) or browse the Culinary Boutique. Dinner tonight is on our own and the approximate arrival time in Austintown will be around 9:30 p.m.
