Virginia Wine Tour
October 6 – 8, 2023
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 6:
Our deluxe motorcoach will depart Austintown at 7:30 a.m. en route to Loudoun County, Virginia. Our first stop today is at Delirium Cafe. Here we will enjoy lunch which will be paired with a choice of wine or Belgian Beer (included). Delirium Café in Leesburg is the first in the United States for this international brand. Our next stop is at Vanish Farmwoods Brewery. Vanish is a 63-acre, family-owned farm brewery. It is known for good beer and a laid-back vibe. They have over 20 beers on tap in their massive Taproom. They also have wine, cocktails, and mixed drinks! We will end our day in historic downtown Leesburg for “Leesburg First Friday”. You will have time to stroll this historic town and enjoy the numerous live music performances, art exhibits, specialty shops, wine tasting venues and have dinner (on your own) at one of the many restaurants. Later we will check into the Hilton Garden Inn Dulles North.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7:
After breakfast (included) at our hotel we will depart for The Conche where we will have a chocolate sculpting class. After class we will depart for Casanel Vineyards and Winery for a wine tasting. This estate winery is known for producing fine quality wine. Our next stop today, is at a boutique winery named Otium Cellars for a wine taste and lunch (included) while taking in the amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. After lunch, we will continue our day at Sunset Hill Vineyards for a wine taste (included) as well as time to take in the old-world charm surrounded by mountain views. We will end our day with dinner and wine (included) at Bleu Frog Vineyard. We will have a gourmet farm to table dinner in a rustic barn.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 8:
After breakfast (included) at our hotel we will depart for the Waterford Fair (included). The fair offers artisans, vendors, and producers a venue to reach a wide audience of people seeking one-of-a-kind, made by hand items, set in a lovely village that promotes history and creativity. Our last stop before heading home is at Williams Gap Vineyard nestled in the hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains for lunch and wine tasting. Dinner tonight is on your own and our approximate arrival time back in Austintown should be around 8:30 p.m.
